    Could NOT get Entry Submitted

I couldn't upload my entry tonight... It would get half way, then stop.

I plead with Microsoft to somehow allow me to enter this, I worked my life off the past 4 weeks on this.

    Jacob,

Are you still having problems with the submission system? And what is the error message? Please do not worry; we will find a solution.

Re: Could NOT get Entry Submitted

    Thanks,

There was not an error message, it would be just uploading fine up until a point that ranged from about 20% to about 50%, then it would restart back to 0% and not continue.  I tried over and over until time was up, and now, of course, the upload system is blocked.

I emailed to the contact for the DBP website, and I included a web link that has my entry, that I don't want to post here - If if is possible to use that link to get my entry, I would be hugely grateful.

Could you also sent me this web link? My email address is rherb@microsoft.com.

Re: Could NOT get Entry Submitted

Hope everything works out for you. Good luck.

I was getting errors for the description and character count, the page said max 4000 and I had ~3900 an it was still giving errors. I ended up cutting a large part of it to submit. The full text is in the zip file anyway.

We also failed to upload our last build tonight...
(We have an entry completed and another one empty)

Is there any chance to send you this build :( ?

What is the name of the game you attempted to submit?

Re: Could NOT get Entry Submitted

It could be worse. I submitted Squeebles last night a couple of hours before the deadline. I didn't have any problems with the uploads and the submission was marked as "completed". Well, I got an email tonight saying that some files were missing from my submission. I replied and included a copy of my submission zip file (it's only 3MB) with the summary, ccgame, screenshots, source and assets (yes, it really is only 3MB). Hopefully it is not too late and my game can still be judged , but it seems like a lot of people have had problems with the online submission system since it was created for the first DBP contest.

Re: Could NOT get Entry Submitted

Yes, we've encountered some problems with file uploads for six of the submissions to the contest. We are in touch with the authors of these six entries, and we are getting their missing files.

We're loving playing your games, and can't wait to announce the results...
