guys i've windows vista n i cant use the disable hardware accelaration option in the directx diagonose tool in vista!! i open the dxdiag n in the option u cant use the option to disable directx 3d /hardware acc!! my xp i can disable it but not when i upgrade to vista!how to disable the disable hardware accelaration pls help it is for gamming purposes!

As far as I know, Vista uses hardware acceleration itself; which is why the option to switch it off is no longer there.

Perhaps try right-clicking the game .exe> Properties> Compatibility, and messing around with the options there.
