I'm trying to gauge interest for something like an online classroom type of class for later this year. I have been tossing this around in my head for a while and decided
to start figuring out how to make it a reality. The goal is to provide
an actual online class where I would teach XNA programming over a
period of time this summer. The class would be taught using something
like Windows Live Meeting where we’d all join in on a conference call
where I would display PowerPoints and do live demos on my machine. This
would provide a more real learning environment where you can ask
questions in real time with the content.
Obviously this type of project requires much more planning than the
video tutorials. While I work out the details of what to cover, I
wanted to get a sense of what the community thought of doing something
like this. So if you could take a moment to head over to my blog post and answer a few questions about what you think of this, I would appreciate it. Here's the link: http://nick.gravelyn.com/2008/04/20/throwing-out-a-hypothetical/.
You do need to provide an email to post, but don't worry it isn't displayed (just for my records). Also note that there is moderation on comments, so when you post it won't appear right away (unless you have a previously approved comment).
Thanks.
