XNA Framework 3.0

Hi,

I have some questions from XNA Coordinators.

Will XNA 3.0 support shader model 4.0 (or 4.1) ?
Will XNA 3.0 support rendering text for right-to-left languages like Persian ?
Any chance to integrate with Visual Studio 2008 ?

We haven't yet finalized or announced any details of the 3.0 framework, but based on our current thinking:

No
Not built into SpriteBatch, although you can of course write your own layout code over the top of our DrawString implementation
Yes, we announced this at GDC
