    Updating to March 2008 SDK

I am still working on the previous version of the DirectX SDK. I am wondering when the grace period is before I am required to meet the new Games For Windows Technical Requirements that have been included in the March 2008 SDK update.

Is there any particular reason you don't want to upgrade? For my projects, it's usually just an uninstall of the old package, and a re-install of the new package, and I'm back in business. Very few things break between SDK versions.
Although the time to un-install and re-install is way too long. Sometimes I start a re-install before I walk the dog or something, just to avoid having to wait for the computer.

As far as I can tell, there are no new Technical Requirements in the March 2008 SDK, so there shouldn't be any issues for you. One or two requirements were retired and the test cases were updated, but that's about it.
