I did my 100-300 level Computer Science course work at a State University here in Pennsylvania. I studied some Math at UVSC. I am currently shopping schools to finish my Bacholers, I am leaning heavily towards Allegheny University in Meadville Pennsylvania. They have one of the best Art Programs I have been exposed to, and I have headhunted many schools. If they will take me! I will likely attend there next fall if Im not to busy with whatever contract work I get myself into. I was able to do 12 credits last semester, but it was not my best GPA semester to date, but I was commuting 1.5 hours to work 4 days a week in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania and working 32 hours per week.
I have this fantasy that I will somehow find a nitch to make more money than I have desire to finish school. I believe there is much value in what I jokingly call "The School of Microsoft" to my friends. Which to me is the study of XNA, XSI, ASP.net, and several other Tutorials I engage in every day for 4-10 hours. I am building a portfolio that shows proficiency in Visual Studio Products. I think there is much value in that. I hope there is anyway!
I love the Microsoft product line though, it truly does reflect much labor, effort, and talent. My State University had an all Unix/Linux programming environment for the whole course, and I am frustrated by how much I owe to them and by having so little Microsoft exposure.
