    XNA Framework on Zune Video on Channel9

    There's a new 17 minute video on Channel9 with Michael Klucher demonstrating GS3.0 on the Zune located here:

    The 'CTP' as it's now being called will be due in "a couple of weeks", which corresponds to Chris Satchell's "May" timeframe. I also spotted this, make of it what you will:

    To add to the rumors: C9 videos can take some time to get published so the release might be even closer than everyone might expect.

    Did anyone else notice the following line of code from the video? Could this mean support for video, or do you think it has something to do with the ability to play music stored on the Zune while running a game?

    Edit: Nevermind found my answer on the video.

    using Microsoft.Xna.Framework.Media;

    I believe (I think I heard it somewhere) that's the namespace where the functionality for accessing the media on the Zune will reside.

    Yea, The media namespace is for exactly that...

    I just noticed the demo showed development using Visual Studio 2008.  This may have already been noted in any relevant FAQ, so don't mind me if I am privately excited in a delayed manner and should have known months ago.

    It's been known for awhile that GS 3.0 will be Visual Studio 2008 only.
