XSI to XNA animation problem

    XSI to XNA animation problem

    hi, I'm having some problem exporting an animated character from XSI to XNA...
    I'm animating a Skeleton Rig with a Null Hierarchy Shadow Rig enveloped by my mesh
    I plotted the animation and then stored them in the shadow rig ( plot -> all transformations and then store -> transformation fcurves with all the nulls selected)
    now, in xsi I don't see any problem when I run any of these animation but when I play them in the XNAViewer I start having problems... it seems that some of the nulls have an offset from the original animation...

    I finally managed to solve it... just with a variant solution on what Alexandre Jean Claude wrote in this thread: Screwed up animation (video links inside)
    only I had to freeze all translation

    I still don't understand why (I found it by force of the random action taken by desperation)
    so if anyone could explain it to me I would really appreciate

    We are currently working on a better, more predictable way of working with animation. Actions are currently working well if you know what you are doing, but they do have a few pitfalls. I will try to post more information about it as soon as I have more time :-)
