    Problem with drawing Models

    Hi, I'm having a problem with drawing models.
    It looks like my computer is having problems with reading the model definition.
    It worked earlier, but stopped working about a week ago.
    I'm sure that it's not a problem with my code, because the program works on other computers.
    It might be related with using the german version of Visual Studio.
    Here's a picture of how it looks like...it's supposed to look like a cube with a texture.

    I hope someone can help me, I need it for my studies.
    Thanks, Frank

    Re: Problem with drawing Models

    You are going to have to provide more information. How are you drawing the model? Is it a regular mesh or are you dynamically creating it? Are you using a custom Shader or Basic Effect? (Read this http://www.gameprojects.com/project/?id=bd899b7e9c before posting any code though)

    Does SpaceWar work? If SpaceWar models draw fine then its not likely to be your computer or VS.

    The only issue I can think of with international would be different formats for numbers - make sure you are reading them in using the correct locale.

    It looks like the winding order is wrong for your cube.  Add this line to see if it is:

    Device.RenderState.CullMode = CullMode.None;

    Also it looks like you don't have your lighting setup properly.  Try to disable lighting to see if you can see your texture.
