The common reason first: DreamSpark CC memerships do not work with premium content, like XCG.

Great yet another insult for us non US premium members we really should have a lower subscription rate

So far the CTP/beta will be US only. It has been hinted that other regions will be included in the coming months, but the final version will include most countries.

Just to clarify (and I know this isn't much consolation) but as Creators Club Premium Member you can submit games for publishing regardless of where you live. You cannot however download the games once published from Xbox LIVE Marketplace outside the United States.

So I have just thrown away $99. I joined to browse, play and start developing games in C# on my xbox 360. Always the same thing with the xbox you can't do that you can't do this. Only us have full access and to be quiet hones I am fed up of spending money for nothing. If I am offered a service I pretend to have full access and not a small part. This is not fair and I think if things are going to stay like this I will move to a different platform.

Nothing has been thrown away.. you can call Xbox support and get a refund if you don't like it.

The CC membership has been $99 since day one and there was not community games in the initial release and plenty of folk paid the $99 just to write games.

Its fairly well documented that it doesn't cover every country in the beta here http://creators.xna.com/en-us/membership

Enjoy your search for different platforms... there are no other consoles with this kind of tool unless you have a lot more than $99 and no matter which you pick there will always be some limitations one way or another.

Even though you can't browse the games, you can definitely develop your games for the Xbox 360. And remember that the US-only thing is just for the beta. They are opening up XBLCG to more countries at release (the exact list is somewhere, but I don't know the countries off hand).

Again, only the beta is US only and this was clearly indicated. You still can develop games for your Xbox 360 and you still have access to the rest of premium content on this site. It is only the XBLCG beta that is US only.

Ok You Have a point here its just I hate it when I cannot access an area thats all. I hope this will be soon available for europe customers. In the meantime I will experiment and learn from the tutorials on the web site.
