Visual C# 2008 against 2005

    Hi

    I have downloaded the VC# express version 2008 , with XNA 3.0 because I wanted to learn 3D graphics.

    The problem is that it seems VC# 2008 does not support all the starter kits of XNA 2.0 ,
    which from what I know can only work in VC# 2005.

    So what shall I do ?
    Is there a way to fix it , or I need to uninstall 2008 and XNA 3.0 and install 2005 with XNA 2.0 ?

    Download and install C# Express 2005 and use it for the 2.0 starter kits. You can have both 2005 and 2008 on the same machine with no problems.

    But does 2008 work with both 3.0 and 2.0?

    No. 2008 only supports 3.0, and 2005 only supports 2.0. The API for the IDE changed, so that's how it will remain, according to the XNA group.
