    What could possibly be more exciting then writing your own game and seeing it run on an Xbox 360? How about enabling a vibrant community of others to write thousands of games and share them with a captive audience over Xbox LIVE? The team that democratized game development with XNA Game Studio is now also working to democratize game distribution. The XNA Community team is looking for a passionate and motivated program manager to help define and deliver the experiences enabling the first ever gaming service on consoles consisting of games created by the community and managed by the community.

    We have a tremendous opportunity for a program manager to help amplify our community gaming story. Your focus will be needed to help us build the right pieces for a robust community game content platform starting with games on Xbox 360 and extending to other platforms. This is an awesome opportunity to work on a V1 product that will potentially change the face of the video gaming industry.

    Responsibilities will include:

    ·          Defining the overall experience around bringing community and professional games on to the Xbox 360 and other platforms.

    ·          Drive functionality and feature work end-to-end from our creator facing website (http://creators.xna.com/) to services that communicate with the Xbox 360 console.

    ·          Work closely with our back-end services team and deal with large scale server-side issues particularly in V2

    ·          Managing cross-group relationships across the Xbox 360 organization for your areas

    Ideal candidates should have 2-5 years experience as a PM working in all phases of the software development cycle on Web technologies and customer-focused design. A proven track record of shipping quality products and strong collaboration with external teams is required. On the technical side you should be fluent in a few of the following web technologies including accessing SOAP based web-services, RSS, html, SQL, ASP.NET. (Note: Expertise with everything in the technology list is NOT required). BA/BS in computer science or related field or equivalent technical experience desired but not required. _Must_ be passionate about casual and/or hard core games and online communities however.
