The world doesn't need another puzzle but... I DO !!! :)

This is an action-puzzle game made for two player versus, but it has a single player too (just for training... no AI yet...) Its based (of course) in Tetris Attack, but it has elements from other big puzzles like puyo puyo, super puzzle fighter, etc etc. One of the most important features is the posibility of fully customize the game play, by changing the kind of cursor you use, the kind of arrangement you have to do for the block (like three in a row, or four connected, etc etc), and the kind of attack that you send to your opponent.

Nice game! Almost didn't even see your video link there (you kind of hid it at the bottom of your post and I almost thought that was your signature). Looks like a fun game. Nice character selection screen :) Love those block guys. You should add some screenshots and some more description to your post so people see some actual content and don't get fulled like I did. You've got a great game there you shouldn't be hiding! Congratulations to making it to the finish line and best of luck to you in the contest.

Got to level 10-5 with a score of 26410. Is that any good? the 8 digit score display tells me no, but it seemed very fast already ;-)

about the score, haha, this is funny... i put so many zeroes becouse when you make a chain, the points you get are multiplaid, and i have seen in youtube guys playing tetris attack and make about 64 chains... which means that the programmers didint think that could be made, so the score digits are not enouth and the score goes "999999", so i didint want that to happend to me if another "gift guy" play this game.

 

About your score.. well, it depends which character you have chosen... the characters are (suposly) balanced in two players becouse i have a float multiply for the number of blocks for every character,  so if a guy that has to do 3 connected with one block cursor (which is easy), versus another guy with two block cursors and three in a row (which is not so easy) the number of block they send in the attack get compensated...

 

and about the one player mode.... its treaky becouse you use to think that you should have the screen empty as you can when the next attack is comming... that is not true. its better to have it full, becouse after the attack, you get some extra time, and there is when you have to play as fast as you can to destroy the blocks that attack you.

 

i will keep working in the game to release in hollidays "Another Puzzle LIVE" with a lot of features more (right know im just programming a new cursor which is 6 blocks wide (the whole panel)).
