I ended up doing a pretty massive update yesterday; let's see if we can put anything else in there before 10 hours is up :)

    Hilarious.

I'm reminded of the movie Independence Day, when Jeff Goldblum dramatically turns the laptop around with a giant clock counting down to when the aliens are supposed to attack.   As if giant clocks counting down were the proof people needed to start worrying about alien attacks.

Of course they are. Also, good clocks is a great reason to prefer one kind of car over another. Ergonomics is important!

Anyway, I briefly toyed with the idea of taking 2 days of vacation (in addition to what I've already taken for this competition) and whipping up a totally new game from scratch, but even if I were crazy enough to do that, I wouldn't be able to enter two games. That's the main reason I didn't do it. (schhhyeah! :-)

Is the timer correct? I mean im GMT+2 and USA is GMT-6 so for me it ends at 8:00AM on 26th. And it shows it'll end after 7:40 (9:00 AM my time) So is it one hour wrong or not,it's in my  interest to have whole more hour to do stuff:)

Well the USA actually falls into six different time zones ;).

But anyway, the contest ends at 24:00 on September 25 in the Central Time Zone (GMT-6). Also keep in mind that most of the USA observes daylight savings time, so the time may actually be an hour off because of that. So whatever time that is in your timezone is the deadline.

I'm using the time to create a new game play video because the first one was horrible quality. We basically connected the XBOX into a miniDV video recorder using RCA plugs but it came out pretty blurry. I ended up forking out for a new video card so I could run and record it on my PC and remove the analog stage completely.... Unfortunately my CPU isn't fast enough to record at full resolution and frame rate but the video quality is still *much* better than the original

well,i myself dont have any way to record the 360 video, but the win version is the exactly same parameters and the 360 runs at more than 56 frames /sec so i guess its ok to record the win ver. Cant make a difference :)
