    Is there a way to upgrade your Direct X SDK installation? I'm tired of having to remove the old SDK, install the new one, and then setup the new one in Visual C++ Express. Please tell me there is an easier way :)

    Nope...

    One thing that has been repeatedly asked for (for reasons of download size and speed) is a smaller SDK. One of the suggestes at the MVP conference this year was to make a download of the things that changed (e.g. all the sample art rarely changes and is quite big). We can just hope that the feedback gets there eventually.

    Thanks for letting me know. DirectX SDK should have an updater or something.
