Proximity HD: If you've played and enjoyed the original
Proximity, you'll probably be really happy to see this. I spent the last year and a half tweaking with the look, feel, and feature set of the game, and XNA really provided the engine to really make it shine.
I'm really hoping it wins, as it means I'll be able to add XBox Live support to the title, finally giving its audience the chance to play the game with online multiplayer. I'll see if I can add a gameplay video sometime, whenever I can figure some screen capturing software out. You really have to see it to see just how smooth and slick the animation is to get a good feel for the game, although I plan to make it look even better and add even more features, in time.
I also did some consulting work in game design and play testing on the game Swarm, developed by two friends of mine, which is basically a 2.5D tower defense/space shooter hybrid.
Edit: Oh no. Oh no no no no. Looking at the instructions screen again, I just realized I neglected to swap the colors of the After picture's blue 7 tile to red, so it doesn't accurately reflect the game rules! Wow. How did I miss that? I swore I checked specifically for that at least 3 times while I was creating it.
