From what I understand they want the code files, but I'm wondering if more is required.  Do they also want a compiled version of the game?  If anyone could clear this up I'd appreciate it.

If anything, if you are sending source they want you to clean out your bin to reduce file size.  They compile your source on their end.

I would recommend sending a ccgame file, as you are less likely to have project reference or compilation issues.

But I'm not in any way shape or form the official word.

okay good to know, I wasn't 100% sure on that although that seemed to be implied.  I just didn't want to be the 1 idiot who gave them the wrong stuff.

It started uploading, then it when back to service unavailable.

Edit: Success.  I had already cut out an extra piece of music to make it smaller though.  Sadness.  Oh well, it's done for better or worse, I can/will relax........now.

The Dishwasher is still on the no success list; I'm at work now so I can't try, but I tried this morning at 6 AM with no success.  It would be a shame if the Dead Samurai didn't make it on the DBP roster...

Based on the teaser competition Microsoft do no publicize the game - that is up to each team to do for themselves if they want. Search these forums for Dream Build Play or DBP - there are lots of people who have announced their entries.

Ok, this is getting ridiculous... I got DU Manager and tried uploading with DU Manager up; the main page goes to a page not found page but the upload window stays up with all 0's, and the upload continues for about 300+ MB before I stopped it (the file is only 30 MB). 

Trying again...

Jamezila and others who are still unsuccessful with their uploads - please email admin@dreambuildplay.com if you haven't yet.  We have folks there who will work with you proactively to get your uploads to go through properly. 

Given the challenges a number of folks had with uploading their entries, we are going to extend the submission period by a few days.  Everyone who has entered will receive this notice soon but I wanted to let the few remaining folks know this now so that you don't pop a blood vessel this evening stressing about this.

I got an e-mail from you guys shortly after; evidently I had had multiple successful uploads even though my account still showed The Dishwasher as incomplete.  Technology! :)
