    DirectX10 BGRA and DirectShow

    Hi all :)
I'll cut short to the question,
I have a DirectShow source with a SampleGrabber that pick up images in RGB32 format, i need them inside a texture in DirectX10.
There is a way to use DirectShow in BGRA32 mode (or DirectX10 in RGBA32 mode :D) to allow simple passage of data between it and DirectX10? Or do I have to swirl data losing time uselessly?
Do Media Foundation resolve this issue?

    Thanks for the answers. :)

P.S. I don't know if this is the correct forum...

    Not correct forum.

    Go here:  http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/windowsdirectshowdevelopment/threads

P.S. - DShow is very, very deprecated.  Stop using it if you can.

From a recent thread on the DIRECTXDEV mailinglist:

DirectShow is typically used for video processing applications rather than simple playback. Windows Media Foundation is recommended for Windows Media file formats and MP3s especially for protected content. DirectShow is still recommended for playing back most everything else and for editing scenarios with Windows Vista.

Which pretty much puts it into some really, really weird state of deprecateness.

We are boki. The rest is known.

The not so known part of the rest: It is Björn or Bjoern, but never Bjorn.
