    Can I run both 3.0 and 3.1?

Since I cannot submit a 3.1 product until end of July and I have a product I have been trying to get out this quarter. So if I install 3.1 will all my projects become 3.1? I cannot submit my project until end of july? Or can I choose 3.0 or 3.1 for my build?

From the way the release is worded, specifically this part:
XNA Game Studio 3.1 is here!:

    • Visual Studio Changes: XNA Game Studio 3.1 supports both 3.0 and 3.1 projects, and it includes support for upgrading projects from 3.0 to 3.1.
    Submitting 3.1 Games
XNA Game Studio 3.1 games can be submitted to Xbox LIVE Community Games starting late July.  Please note! Currently, if Premium Creators want to submit or service their game to Playtest and/or Peer Review, those games must remain XNA Game Studio 3.0 projects. On July 23rd, you can submit games upgraded or created as 3.1 projects to playtest and/or Peer Review, but they will not go live to consumers until we are able to upgrade Xbox LIVE Community Games Marketplace later this Summer.

It sounds like you can still submit 3.0 games. I hope so, since I have one that's very close to release. :-)

[edit]: I guess Nick's link sums it up even better!

There is also some helpful information about project upgrades in XNA Game Studio 3.1 in this article - http://creators.xna.com/article/convert30to31.

    Thanks!

Question: I need to test a 3.0 game on my Xbox, and on Game Studio Connect it says an update is available. I'm assuming I can deploy both 3.0 and 3.1 games once I update it?

Thanks. Just wanted to double check - I was pretty certain I read that somewhere but wanted to be 100% sure.

IF you can update XNA game studio connect.
Because i can't. When i start it it says: please update. But it seems that the new download still isn't available. It's the same version because after reinstalling xna game studio connect the same error message is shown.
I am located in germany - is this a problem in the US too?
And - if someone from MS is listening: how long will we have to wait? I have an important presentation on saturday and wanted to show our game on the console...

There is currently a problem with the updated version of XNA Game Studio Connect in all supported regions.  We're actively investigating this problem and hope to have it resolved soon.

    Thanks!

Uninstalled everything, Torque X, GS 3.0. Install 3.1 TorqueX everything is kosher! Now if they would just update the MSDN pages. : )
