    Recommended books to learn XNA

    Hi everyone!

I have a small question concerning books to learn XNA. I want to learn XNA and I do have some knowledge of C# (been awhile I didn't code in that language but I'm not a total beginner in it).

I was wondering between those three books which one would be good or if you had any other suggestions. Thanks!

are you 100% sure you want books? I was not sure books were the way to go but i bought some. barely used them. found them dull and i could learn from the tutorials here. i really think tutorials are better, but if you are set on books then i cant say which, sry

also, this really doesn't belong in this area. help wanted is for getting people and what not

Building XNA 2.0 Games by James Silva and John Sedlack is a fun XNA book.  There are some good resources on the internet as well.  I found myself learning most of the things I needed online rather than through books.

You should be posting "general" questions in the "General" section (which is where I've moved this thread to). The "Help Wanted/Offered" section is for job/service type postings, not for questions. There is a very helpful FAQ stickied at the top of that forum with the rules for that section that you can read through if you have more questions about what's appropriate to post in that section.

Also, you may want to check out this FAQ we wrote called "Help! I'm new!" for more good information on getting started and resources for you.

    Thanks for moving it :)

I have already checked that section, but most of the books are for C# and not XNA in itself. Since I have a good knowledge of C# it's then useless. So I guess I'm stuck with websites.

Websites are a good way to learn it. I have all my XNA knowlege from various websites.
    Here are some good tutorials:
