Learning XNA 3.0 O'Reilly by Aaron Reed

I seem to be having a problem with first person camera pitch rotation. I have read to the end of chapter 11 of the book named above. My code seems to be in the state it should be, but when i enter the game and move the camera around for a short while, it doesn't take long before the camera stops being able to pitch rotate. i will happily send you the code if you want to see it. I'm sure i must be missing something. Any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like gimbal lock to me. Its a common flaw in cameras. Google knows more.

Hmmm yes i read online, still can't be certain that that's what it is and the more i think about it, the more it seems unlikely. Because i capped off the Yaw and Pitch at 45 degrees so the camera shouldn't have the freedom to get into that situation. Seems wierd that i would have this problem, considering i followed a book. I'd love to send it to someone just to get a second opinion. It may be blatently obvious considering i've never worked with 3D before. If you'd be willing to have a look then please post an email address.

I recently purchased this book and have been trying to find the source code for it.

Does anyone have a working link to the source code?  The author's site will not load for me.

    Thanks.

Same here... I have no problem typing the source myself, but it would be nice to have the source code and sample assets to speed things along.   Maybe elwayfans (Aaron Reed) could provide a new link?

Yeah I'm in the same situation, recently purchased the book but now the website with source code has gone offline :(  , maybe someone has these files on their computer and could upload them for us.
