So I'm looking at the list of winners for the DBP contest and I don't see any of them in the Indie Games channel.  Why is that?  Do they not get submitted to the channel when you enter them in the contest?  Do they wait until later to release them or something?

Its up to the developers... some of them submit them right away, some continue working on the game becuase they were not 100% finished yet and others we never see or hear from again.

If anyone was awarded an XBLA publishing deal then you likely won't see the game for 12-24 months (based on how long it took Dishwasher, Youi Ho Kalblamo and Blazing birds - and we still never saw Gravitron Ultra - from the 2007 competition)

I know there are several in playtest right now so you should see some eventually.

What you see in the Competiton winners channel is the 2008 winners.

I haven't heard anything on when that will be updated, but last I checked those were all last years winners.

Sol Survivor is the only finalist I know of that is nearly done.  It's currently in Peer Review, and so far is quite excellent.  I imagine it'll be out soon.

Some of the others may be coming out soon as well, depending on if they've already done all their playtesting in-house.

Even in the top 20 most of the game are not in review yet.

I could only found Powa Volley, and it's quite good too.
The 6 finalists had to be really good games to finish ahead of this one.
