Project name: HydraNode Brief description: Astro must find ways to traverse and navigate the countless worlds assigned to him in order to document them in his home planet’s database.
The Game: Rubik’s Cube meets Mega Man X.
The High Concept: 3D Third-person puzzle game where you connect colors to progress through a level.
The style: A quirky and cartoony look with Pixar-esque design and quality.
Target aim: To make a cool game that will hopefully land us a dream job in the industry or, better yet, build our own studio.
Compensation: Sorry, its a student work...for now. Your only compensation will be your name on the title and to ability to show it off in your portfolio...BUT if the price is reasonable we might be able to negotiate something.
Technology: XNA Talent needed: Programmer who can make 3D games and is hard working and friendly. This is a serious project and you will be expected to meet deadlines in order to get it out of the door in a timely fasion. We need someone who can implement all art assets into XNA and script gameplay/animations/props in accordance to the game design document. Since the contents of the game are copyrighted everyone working on it will be required to sign a "Work For Hire" contract.
