Yeah I have, I ended up making my own http proxy with a inconspicuous name / content so it wouldn't trigger any alarms. You have to be pretty desperate to go to those lengths though lol

Creed Arena is now in review. Fight other gladiators in a futuristic arena. Check it out now!

OK, it just got blocked at the college where I teach. But I've applied for it to be unblocked since it could be used as an educational tool. (I'm a games dev teacher and I teach a lot of XNA / C# ! ).

Well, I was enjoying using XNAchat, but now when I try to log in, I see the chat system briefly, then get dumped back to the Login page. :(

Hmm I'm not sure why that would be... You're in now so I guess the problem resolved itself ;)

Let me know if it happens again and I'll see if I can work out what's going on.

Hi guys!

I've created a "sister" site that will hopefully allow you to sign in from work. It still links into the same chat room but is void of words like "chat" which raise alarm bells. I won't post the URL here because I don't want it to be affiliated so you'll have to log on at home and ask someone who knows ;)

Are you still having trouble logging in? I can't think what it would be... I even double checked that you hadn't been accidently blocked or anything lol. If you're still having troubles, you can post here or you can email me: reedake at hotmail dot com, and I'll work it out...

For anyone who may have had the website blocked at their place of business or education (some places automatically block any site with the word "chat" in it!), I've set up a sister site: http:// xna . reedake . com which connects to the same room, but is labeled as a "productivity" site rather than "chat" site :)

Dang... short run for me. Company "Smart Filter" blocks it now (most likely because of the "chat" in the domain name) :*(

I set up a "mirror" site for that reason. use xna dot reedake dot com. It links in to the same room, but is devoid of any and all instances of the word "chat" :)

Ended up in this chat after I didnt understood alot of the examples like posted on this site ;).. Already had some great advice and hope to get more in the future.. I think its a great place to hang out :)

Just noting that this also makes it easier to organize multiplayer testing, for those developing multiplayer networked games.

Yeah, I find that's one of the things people enjoy most about it. There's a real sense of community as we all share bits and pieces about what we're working on as we work... and occasionally, just for the fun of it, someone will post an RLOC (random line of code) :P

Yes indeed, I have myself been able to co-ordinate some good multiplayer testing via XNAchat!
