Connect Issue: Failing a game at 93% pushes the game onto the Marketplace

This has been a longstanding issue that many Creators have run into, and should really get fixed. You can vote on it here: https://connect.microsoft.com/feedback/ViewFeedback.aspx?FeedbackID=496026&SiteID=226

Is that really an issue? What if everyone has passed it and then the last reviewer fails it? It would properly go to marketplace given it only had 1 failed review.

Is there another possibly case for this - or better yet, has proven to be another case? If not, I don't see it as an issue. But, I haven't been around these forums for a while so maybe there's been a lot of talk about this that I've missed...

It is annoying but it is a right thing.
If there is a single fail no matters when it is failed. 25% or 93% it is the same.

Again, I agree with you, it is annoying to fail a game and let it to pass with your review.

How the system currently works is you need X number of total reviews before a game goes on the marketplace and Y% of them must be a pass.

How it should work is you need X number of PASS reviews before a game goes on the marketplace, and if Y% of all the reviews on that game are a fail then that game is rejected right away.

The problem is people are passing games that should have been an obvious fail for things that would be seen within 5 minutes if you're not an idiot. I'd like to see review power comes into this more. If there's a single fail by someone with <x> review power then it fails instantly.

Not bad, good suggestion. I'm with you.

The main issue is that IMO, failing a game should not increase the game's progress bar. As it is now, a fail counts as a pass. (I've updated the connect issue to reflect this more clearly)

What happens if there are all passes, and the last two needed are fails? I'm pretty sure the same thing happens, in which case it clearly illustrates the severity of the bug.

@Jim Perry: I completely agree with you. In fact that was one of my suggestions in this thread here.

I voted for the connect issue - I agree a fail shouldn't pass the game ever (or even move progress imho).  If there are 9 passes, then a fail, it should wait until the next review pass to pass the game, in the current system.

Can the system be better?  Maybe, but that's another thread.
