    An invitation from Canned Games

Greetings fellow developers and future developers!

We, all three of us, at Canned Games are very excited about the progress of our first game and would like to extend a special invitation to everyone our Facebook fan page so that you can view what we have been up to the last few months.  Our target for release of our game, will be sometime in early November on Indie Games and shortly after we will be releasing a PC version via our website(www.cannedgames.com).  We hope you will take the time to view the screenshots on our page.  We will be adding new screenshots on a constant basis from here until launch so if you become a fan you will get notified automatically.

Here is the link to the page:

Sorry you're having trouble getting through with the link.  It seems the link is working as we have added a few fans since the post and we are able to get through the link from all of our computers.  If you're still having problems getting it to work, try searching for Canned Games in facebook to find the page.

You don't show up in facebook search either http://www.facebook.com/search/?q=canned+games

Maybe your fans are finding the link though other people who are already fans.

Remember you are already a fan thats why you can probbly see it. Can you get to that lin kif you are logged out of facebook?

I can get to the original page no problem, and the search results link above actually contains Canned Games as the first match, so it has to be a privacy setting.

I'm also in Canada, if you think that matters.

Well I've not had any trouble seeing fan pages for any other games so its hard to blame my pricavy settigns (though I do have it locked down fairly well). I'm NOT in Canda so maybe that is it.

I am having similar results. No Canned Games for me. I'd say if the two of us cannot see it then neither can your potential fans.

It worked for me and I'm not in Canada. I'm not signed into Facebook right now though either. Maybe that makes a difference?

Yeah, I meant more privacy/configuration on the Canned Games side. I tried setting up a facebook company page once, and got pretty turned around. I really don't like the facebook interfaces a whole lot, and have never gone back to work out the issues.

Our bad!  It was a restriction based on country.  The settings defaulted to our country of Canada which explains everything.  You should be able to get to it now.  Thanks for all your advice on this guys!

I keep trying to click on the box. But have to admit it's one of the better looking sites I've seen.

    Welcome aboard!

I hope you will enjoy your stay in this great community and looking forward to see your production.

Oh and I added your Facebook page in this thread (I've compiled a list of all the XNA/XBLIG developer that have page/group on Facebook).

And added your pages to my favorites and become a fan ;-).

Re: An invitation from Canned Games

Thanks for becoming a fan!  We are really excited about getting our game done.  We've been working on it mostly full time since August.  It's been quite an experiment!  We're hoping it pays off enough to allow us to
    make some more. :-)

    Cheers,

    Adam
