    Biped Problem (3Ds Max 9)

Is there any way to change the position of a joint on a 3Ds Max Biped?
For example, I would like to change the neck joint to connect to the back of the skull instead of the base of it.
Any advice / links on how to do this would be very much appreciated! (as long as its not 'use bones') :P

Why don't you want to use bones? They're not hard.

Anyway, by back of the skull do you mean like how a dogs head attaches to its neck?

Make your biped, go to the Motion tab (the wheel icon) and under Biped turn on figure mode (the stick figure icon).
Now you can move the head around with Move and rotate as well as move its pivot (Hierarchy tab -> affect Pivot only).

Perfect, thank you very much Yakra! (Yes, like a dog / quadruped)
I don't have anything against using bones at all, I just wanted to know how to do this with a biped, and didnt want people replying with "Use Bones" :P
