Why is my profile score so low?

Why is my profile score so low?

This might be a stupid question...but I'm curious why my CC profile has a negative score?  It's -161.

Now since I released the last build of my game, I've not been very active here...but my score hung tight in the 300s for a while.

A couple days ago I logged in to find my score in the negative.

I'm not a very active member...I've got a demanding professional and personal life...but I do visit the site from time to time and expect to renew my membership in December.

I'm just kind of curious if the negative number is a result of relative inactivity...or if I'm somehow being slammed unbeknownst to me.

    Thanks...

I see you at positive 161. I don't know the exact reasons for it going down, though.

There's relativly few things you lose points for see http://creators.xna.com/en-US/article/reputation - have any of them applied to you? Inactivity is not one of them.

The only other way I know of is that Microsoft can manually ding people if they are causing trouble in the forums - mods can't do that BTW so no blaming us.

Mods don't get any details on rep so you will have to email creators@microsoft.com if none of that applies.

Hmmm...I guess I assumed a number in parenthesis was negative...so my apologies for the inaccuracy...it is +161.

As for the list of things that will bring down your score...I don't think I'm guilty of any of those.  The only thing that could have happened...but I don't know if it has...would be my approval of a title that was pulled down.

I don't know of anything that I reviewed that was yanked...and certainly nothing that was yanked for inappropriate content (at least nothing I saw while in peer review).  Most of the titles I reviewed were pretty solid games.

Oh well...not sure why I lost half my reputation...but I guess there's not much I can do about it short of bringing it back up.

    Thanks for the responses...

I don't know the details of the system, but I have a feeling reputation might decay over long periods of inactivity.

I suspect you're right, Shawn.  I don't see any other reason for a 125+ point loss.  Shame on me, I guess.

    Thanks again, all!

I haven't been very active on the forums lately and think that mine has dropped a bit, but could be wrong as I don't keep track of the exact figure.
