    I was planning to go at first earlier this year, but due to work and also the price went up as from the last time I went :-(.

    I wonder how many XBLIG are from the Montreal area here, Here at Québarium we are 3, but beside that I dunno any other people from the area.  We could have made a little XBLIG GT.

    Wish you luck at the MIGS and hope you can make some good contacts there.

    Too bad, it would be cool to get in touch with a few of you!

    We have setup one on one meetings with Nintendo and Valve, as well as some smaller distribution and publishing game companies.  Any advice for us?  I wish to see if we can become a developer for the Nintendo consoles and wish to see if Valve would be interested in publishing a PC version of our games through Steam.  Who knows what might come of this.  This summit has really forced me to open my eyes to the future potential of our company.  Not a bad thing at all.

    @Matthew

    Ohh but we could still meet in the evening ;-) just we wont be going to the MIGS during the days, but we all live around there (well FCycles & TronicSynth are actually on the Montreal island, just me who live in the south shore just 20 mins of Montreal).

    Is there any other XNA/XBLIG in Montreal so that we could organize a little bigger Get Together (GT)? I think that would be great!

    No guarantees but I'll see what's up when I hit there.  We might be busy beyond, or be looking for stuff to do; I have no idea what to expect.  One of the guys at NSBI (who hooked us up with MIGS) told me I should be staying in Montreal for the next few days even after MIGS is over with.  We cannot due to other obligations, but it shows there might be a lot of networking potential up here.  Sorry I cannot make definite plans, yet!

    Just a follow up... we were busy, beyond, at MIGS and were not able to reach out to anyone for a get-together.  If anyone I met at MIGS is on these forums, give me a shout!  It was amazing to meet all these people in the gaming industry and have them check out our game.  Only those who had private meetings with us got to see the game, it was not showcased "on the floor".

    We did grab David Edery's attention at the last moment (he was a speaker) right before he left on his flight, and got him to check out Duality ZF and asked about the potential to get it into XBLA.  The answer was unfortunately "unlikely", but it wasn't "impossible", and that was mostly due to XBLA rasing the bar.  It makes me wonder if XBLIG will be the old XBLA (what XBLA use to be), as well as the low end indie games, and XBLA will be become a new sub-par retail section, keeping in mind that eventually retail games are going to be on Xbox LIVE, too...

    If you are not familiar with David Edery, I suggest you all watch this speech:
