    Promoting the idea to give a game as a Valentine's Day gift

    It is not conventional to give a game as a Valentine's Day gift, and perhaps spending just one dollar won't make someone feel that special, but perhaps a game could compliment some other gift.

    We've done a promo poster (high-res image http://bit.ly/cUaIwo) and are trying to get people to buy a game for Valentine's Day!  I thought it worth posting up the concept and see if anyone else might have a similarly promotion in mind.  Maybe we can get a bit of weight behind the concept and start a cultural shift!

    This is a pretty good idea. Re-advertising a game for a holiday to bring attention or maybe some follow up sales after initial release...

    You should post numbers. If this is a success a lot of other developers may want to consider this strategy.
