    I have Visual Studio 2005 C++ version... i think... atleast I've only used it to code in C++

    So my question is. Do I need to download a different versin of Visual Studio?
    And Can I not code in C++? Do I need to learn C#?

    You will need to download visual C# express to code in C#, it is a different language to C++ but very similar and easier to get a hang of.

    If it is a version above the Express one then chance are high(ish) that you have C# installed - if you did deselecct it explicitly in during setup.

    So my question is. Do I need to download a different versin of Visual Studio?

    If you only have Visual Studio C++ Express installed, then yes, you would need to get Visual Studio C# 2005 Express.

    And Can I not code in C++? Do I need to learn C#?

    You could use C++/CLI, but you would lose the content pipeline to handle your assets and Xbox 360 support. Knowing C++ makes learning C# rather easy, though :)
