For anyone considering attending Gamefest, do keep in mind that our conference is first and foremost for commercial game developers today. There's very little to no beginner content and only one track is on XNA Game Studio. All of the content will once again be made available after the event in both slides and audio recordings shortly after the conference.

For those looking for an update on where XNA Game Studio is headed next, the days in which Gamefest is held are typically good days to tune into your RSS news aggregator. We tend to make an announcement or two.

2 Air Plane ticket (1 for coming, 1 for leaving :) ) + 450$ is way out of my budget... too bad those things are most of the time in the US. Should they be in Germany I think I would go.

In the past there has been a GameFest in the UK as well - though I don't know any details nor if one will happen this year.

$450 is a bit for me as well. But next year I'll be living out there so it won't be quite so bad (no travel expenses). So next year! :)

Guess the only way I am getting an invitation to that party is by winning the DBP contest.
