I greatly appriciate it. The problem I'm having is in the 2D tutorial. It intructs me to add an existing item. The same one that I dowloaded from the source code. When I try to add it, the file containg the items are there, but the items themselves are not. I've already unistalled and then reinstalled everything to try and fix this problem. But it still didn't work. So I don't know if it's a problem with my solution explorer or if it's a download error that won't go away. This isn't my first time programming. I'm framiliar with it, so I don't think that it's anything that I'm doing wrong. If you have an answer to this problem, and would like to share it with me, that would great. Thanks again for your help.

Well which 2D tutorial? There are tons of them.
Which item, again?
The file containing the items? What does that mean? Are several .jpg's in a .zip or what?
Re: I am so lost write now.

You still didn't answer the two basic questions that were asked of you. People hear things on TV and YouTube; they don't read real books any longer, and thus all kinds of homonyms end up meaning the wrong thing in their minds.

"Write/Right/Rite" is quire popular. "I could care less" is also popular (losing the "n't" from "I couldn't care less"). "Wallah/violet/voila" is yet another one. There are more. But I think we should wait for the O.P. to explain which tutorial he's using (or she's using?) and which particular file seems to be missing, rather than turn this thread into a treatise (not "treatsie") on the importance of correctness in communication ;-)
Well when it came time to to put an existing item in there they were'nt there. And I had already dowloaded and saved it properly. Does anyone know why this is happening?

Which tutorial?
What kind of item? (.jpg/.wav/...)?
Where have they not been there?

You need to ask your questions more clearly...

Based on my assumptions I try to answer your question. (I assume you have downloaded some .jpg file, put it into your project folder on the harddrive (e.g. C:\Projects\MyGame\MyGame\Content\Image01.jpg), but it does not show up in the solution explorer.)

Open your project, right click on the Content node in it. Say "add existing item", browse to your file, select it, and DON'T say add, but rather click on the arrow and say 'add'.

I am so lost right now.

Ok I've been going throught the tutorial and trying to follow along.
