An early BETA will be released in May. The final date for release is still 'Holiday 2008'.... but all this is already in the FAQ http://forums.xna.com/thread/48067.aspx

I read it and it says BETA will be released in MAY, since we are in MAY, do we have an exact date yet because I cant wait any longer :D!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! also i know at least everyone who has a zune has said this but the zune really needs a clock, the clock should be top priority after this has been released (just my opinion :D). ZUNE = 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 TIMES COOLER THAN IPOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

during the video i watched of this at GDC, they said that there would be a BETA version released in spring, is that out yet and if not then when is it being released and how would i get the BETA?

I don't think anyone will write games that look generally different on one or the other. The only possibility in that area would be text output. The smaller screen means its a little harder to read - though you will all be stunned by how good the screens are even on the smaller model.

The few games I have seen at GDC look great on both models.

So buy based on your other preferences not for gaming.
