UX Designer

Are you an experienced designer with a love of user experience, a flair for creativity, and the passion to see your ideas through to completion? Do you have a love for games and social networking websites? The XNA Community team is looking for a design leader. Someone who can invent, drive, and inspire great visual and interaction design in our Entertainment business. You will work with the best software devs, testers, PMs and User Experience professionals who are absolutely dedicated to changing the video game industry. Primary Responsibilities

· Define user interface feature requirements for websites, rich client applications and Xbox 360 console software

· Write design specifications; create wire frames, mock-ups, and interactive prototypes for usability.

· Drive high level and/or detailed storyboards, mockups and prototypes for both web and print media

Requirements

· Great web design skills and understanding of web technology (HTML, Javascript, CSS, Flash, Silverlight a plus)

· Knowledge of new technologies, authoring environments and computer graphics tools is preferred.

· Strong visual sensibilities, ability to use visual thinking to inform breakthrough interaction design.

· Ability to work as a team member and take art direction and iterate on designs based on feedback from usability testing and feature team input.

· Passionate about social networking websites such as Facebook, Myspace, Flickr, Friendster, MySpace, etc.

· Must love games – casual and/or mobile gaming greatly welcome (not just core)

· A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Interaction design, graphic design, product design or related discipline is required.

· A minimum of 3 years work experience designing within a collaborative environment required.
