Don't forget about not-cruddy floating point performance, a crazy fast garbage collector, and (usually) much faster hardware to work with. The list of awesome libraries that you can't use or are impractical to use on the Xbox goes on for miles - all that is now at your fingertips!

As for actually selling them, you typically do something like this:

1) Create TehAwesomestGameEVER
2) Set up a website for your game
3) Set up shop with Share*It or another of the frillions of payment-processing services
4) Profit!

Re: What is available for publishing PC only games?

Currently there is no publishing service for Windows. It's all up to you. There is Click Once deployment that you can setup for your game now for PC which is a very nice feature for building your PC XNA game installer. And you've covered the two major differences between PC and XNA games for what isn't available when you develop for the PC. How can we publish our games? Is it up to us to find a way to publish our games or does Microsoft provide us a way to publish our games? If microsoft provides a way for us to publish our games could some one post links to where I can find documents on the process?
