wile serching google for free modles for the game i'm started to work on, i found this websites.

there are other sites, with better quality models, which cost money. for exampls, this site: http://3dbud.com/ offers, high quelity animation modles, but there are too expensive for me, espatioally if i don't intend to get money for the game i build.

Some google warehouse models are also available in collada format, and the pro ($60) version of Sketchup can export the kmz or skp files to collada.

The bad news is i have not had much success importing collada files from sketchup into blender.

I can make you a Hut or a tent if you want, But it would be in .FBX or any other Maya format and you would have to convert it, wich should not be hard, if you want free models email me il make you some.

I also spent a lot of time on the Internet for any conversion software or tool from skp to directX (.x) format.
If you prefer using SketchUp free, I start writing a DirectX exporter that can be found here : http://edecadoudal.googlepages.com/xExporter.rb

I'm no lawyer, but that sounds a lot like you can use the models for your own purposes with no copyright infringements or lawsuits.

Google Sketchup Warehouse has a whole lot of free 3d models for the taking. The only problem is that they are in the .skp format (which XNA can't read, as far as I know there is no skp importer). However, if you download the trial version of Sketchup Pro, it lets you export to fbx. I have used the warehouse and the exporter for all of my 3d models with no problems at all. If you need any specific help, let me know.

Hi, i was wondering if anyone knows where i can get some FREE 3d models of Huts or Tents. I have tried turbosquid but i haven't had much luck. So if someone has or knows where to get some that would be great :D
