I&#39;m going to download it and have a play tonight =)<br />http://forums.xna.com/forums/thread/93224.aspxFri, 26 Sep 2008 05:36:26 GMT4aa5dbf6-357b-46b2-b5b2-1b660a6dc370:93224Duncan Stead0http://forums.xna.com/forums/thread/93224.aspxhttp://forums.xna.com/forums/commentrss.aspx?SectionID=69&PostID=93224I <em>just</em> managed to submit my entry before the site shut down.&nbsp; I feel sorry for those who were a little too late, I had the same problem last year with uploads going awry :/ <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Anyway, the game is a multiplayer top down shooter with lots of bullet dodging and crazy effects.</p> <p> <p>My main inspiration is the incredible freeware game &quot;Liero&quot;, so fans should notice a similar style of play - mixing fast paced low level aiming and bullet dodging with higher level positioning/standoffs and weapon tactics in a fully destructable environment :)</p> <p>Each round is very short - maybe a couple of minutes max, and is a last man standing dance of death in a spaced out arena with black holes, procedural terrain, powerups and random game mutators to further spice things up. </p> Insane Game 3 is a great party game for 2-4 players, and is surprisingly addictive (I sent it to a guy just to make sure it worked the night of the deadline.&nbsp; Later on I get a message saying they ended up playing &gt;100 rounds with a flatmate - that&#39;s over an hour solid in one session!).&nbsp; </p> <p>The controls have been kept as simple and familiar as possible (the two analogue sticks a-la-geometry wars) to try and make it as easy to pick up as possible, which still offering a lot to experienced players.</p> <p>The video I made in the last 30 minutes that completely fails to show the gameplay is here: <a href="http://video.msn.com/video.aspx?vid=ea24cb6f-2d80-44d9-a0b5-ac8f72a895a5">Insane Game 3 trailer</a></p> <p><img src="http://www.whohooo.uwcs.co.uk/screenshots/insanegameSS1.jpg" alt="" /></p> <p>The game itself can be downloaded here as the submitted zip (screenshots, synopsis and ccgame): <a href="http://www.whohooo.uwcs.co.uk/downloads/InsaneGame3dbp.zip">Insane Game 3</a></p>
