www.meristation.com is the most important Spanish-speaking videogame online magazine, both in Spain and, as far as I know, in Latin America.

Here the contact form.

I guess there's no problem if you write them in English, as they are used to report news from all over the world and cover English-speaking events, such as the E3. Anyway, you need to know some basic Spanish in order to use the contact form. Here it is:

"Tu nombre" means "Your name".
"Tu correo electrónico" means "Your e-mail address".
"Asunto del mensaje" means "Message subject".
"Cuerpo del mensaje" means "Message body".
"Enviar" means "Send".
"Borrar" means "Clear".

If there ever were a prime cadidate for a STICKY, this is it!

As another starting point, check out some of the services out there such as GameRelease and SoftPressRelease (can't speak to their effeciency yet). It's also a smart idea to compile your own list of people throughout your network of friends/family/colleagues etc who might have interest. Don't underestimate the power of word of mouth. If your friends run blogs or post in forums, you can get some free PR.

Make a list in Excel or use YMLP to manage. The eariler you start doing this the better. And obviously, Twitter can essentially serve as a mini-press release tool.

If you're game fills a niche or can attract a particular audience, think about stepping outside of the normal channels. (for example, Angry Barry might have appeal among political minded people - I've seen coverage for that game ALL OVER the place)
