    XNA Gamestudio Connection Problem

    Hi everyone,

I just purchased the annual creator's club membership and I'm trying to setup my xbox360 in the XNA Game Studio Devices application so I can deploy to the xbox.

I have tried 10 keys thus far and each time it says it is unable to connect to the xbox.

I am running Vista SP1.  I am signed into the profile that I purchased the XNA membership and can connect to my gold membership on XBox live.   My Xbox and my PC are both on the same subnet, plugged into the same router (255.255.255.0).
The odd part is that Windows Media Center and the Media Sharing features both work great on my Xbox so I know that the XBox can talk to my computer over the network.

I am at a loss at the moment and I'm hoping someone can give me some possible solutions to this problem.

Any help is greatly appreciated, I'm excited to see my projects running on the xbox hardware!

    Thanks for your time!

    Edit:

Forgot to mention that I have XNA Game Studio Devices and XnaTrans.exe as exceptions in Windows Firewall and I have explicitly opened the ports mentioned in the documentation at http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb976062.aspx (UDP 3825 3835 1000, TCP 1001) also in windows firewall.

Make sure you are running the right software on the console. There are two downloads -- you need XNA Game Studio Connect, not XNA Game Launcher.

Hey Man! Just wanted to say thank you. It took me about 3 hours to find your post here and to get my XNA connection started! I don't know why there is no updated information in the Microsoft tutorial blogs coping with that topic.
