FBX file format BindPose Problems in 3DsMax 8

    Hi,

I have several questions regarding the FBX exporter. I have problems exporting skinned(bones) models. I have no problems exporting models alone but:

    1) Whenever i export a model skinned to a set of bones and import it to 3Ds Max 8, it comes up with this error/warning
"BindPose - Mismatched Matrices [11]", and list the list of bones that have that error. How do i set a BindPose or get around this error. My model ends up having parts of it messed up and deformed. I tried freezing the transformations of the bones, setting the bones as a whole as a Skin Pose and even keying frames(I went to google the problem and read that the FBX exporter reads the BindPose as Frames 0-1) But none of the above worked. I have linked the bones appropriately, with the main root bone being the ultimate parent.

    2) Sometimes, the models do not get messed up but i still get that BindPose error. However, when i start doing some simple animations, it screws and messes everything up.

    3) Also, i read that FBX does not support IKs, is there a way around to create good animations without the use of MoCap.

    Thank You.
