I think this may be one of those cases where a picture is worth a 1,000 words. Could you take a screenshot of the error and post it so we can take a look at what's going on? Once we have a better idea of just what exactly it is you're seeing, we'll be able to give you the direction you need to get you working on the tutorials again.

It would also help to know where in the tutorial you're at that you get this error.

Letting us know what the errors are, maybe seeing some of the code and like I said, if all else fails providing a screenshot would really help. I want to get you going quickly, but we're going to need a bit more information from you.

Is there anyway you can tell me how to take a screenshot?

There should be a PrtSc or Print Screen button somewhere on your keyboard. Pressing it will copy a picture of the screen.

So, press it, load up MS Paint, and press Ctrl+V. That should paste the picture into Paint.
Save the picture somewhere on your computer.
Then, go to a website like http://imageshack.us/, click browse, choose your picture, and click upload.
When it's done uploading, copy the direct link to the image, and paste it here.

I see the button but it has a line under it with SysRq under it, I hit shift and it still doesn't work.

    Define "still doesn't work".

Start whatever you want to take the picture of and  simply hit the Print Screen button.  Yes, it has a line an the word 'SysRq' on it but you don't want that so don't press Shift.  Once you press Print Screen, it won't look like anything happened but what it's actually done is copied your screen to your clipboard (same as right clicking and hitting Copy or hitting Ctrl+C).  Open some kind of imaging software (such as Microsoft Paint) and hit Ctrl+V or click Paste on one of the menus.  Then upload it as defined above and we'll be able to see it.
