    XPong360 sample game

    Hi,

Just wanted to drop a note about XPong360, a PONG clone I've written in XNA. It's a full game and covers things like game states, menus, 2d graphics, 2 player gaming, support for multiple controllers (Keyboard, Game Pad and WiiMote (!)).

The game is available at http://jonas.follesoe.no/PermaLink,guid,222e39f7-7803-4f6d-a36e-36660c6686c1.aspx. I've allso posted a YouTube video showing the game: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ehnaKRHixlc

    Hope you like the sample!

This looks great SnowJoy! Noticed you added the touch of changing the balls velocity depending on how the paddle hits it!! Downloading it now :) Ohh thumbs up on the documentation!

    Great Work!

Unfortunately I am receiving "Warning 1 Could not resolve this reference. Could not locate the assembly "WiimoteLib". Check to make sure the assembly exists on disk. If this reference is required by your code, you may get compilation errors. XPongWin"  error message when compiling. Do you have a version that does not use this dll?

What happens if you remove the reference to it? Hopefully the Wii input code is blackboxed so you can get rid of it. :)

    Hi,

The "Clean Solution" option in Visual Studio removed referenced DLL's... Did that before packaging the code.

I've updated the source and included the WiimoteLib.dll in the solution, so you should be able to build it now.

The ball changes angle depending on where you hit it. I'm using the same technique described over at http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa446492.aspx.
