    Entering the contest and anonymity

Is microsoft going to use your actual name if you win any of the prizes our will they just use your profile name?  I ask because years ago I wrote some shareware games that were fairly popular and a few people called me up to ask about expansions, how much they liked the game, would I like to go into business with them, etc...  I'm sure their intentions were all good, but frankly, some of the calls freaked me out a little.  I'd like to submit my game the contest, but if microsoft is going to plaster my real name all over the place, I'll just wait and put the game up in the normal community channel when it goes out of beta (where I'm assuming microsoft wouldn't use my real name without asking me for permission - or am I wrong about that too?)

    Thanks!

See the official rules http://www.dreambuildplay.com/main/Rules.aspx. There is some stuff about using your entry for media but its not specific enough to know what information that covers.

Last year they used the real names of the winners though I have no idea if there was extra permission granted or if its implied by the entry.

If you want rule clarification you should contact the DBP contact email from the web site
