    2D Screenshots

Hey, I don't know if this is the right forum to ask this in but, can you guys give me some screenshots of a 2D game you are going to enter?

What do you need them for?  Any specific size or format?

I don't really care what format, I just want to see if my game even stands a chance cause I have only been doing XNA for like 2 months.

I'd say just enter.  Your game could be the most simple stick figure game, but if its got a certain charm to the graphics/gameplay it should do well.  My 2 cents :-D...

There's no reason NOT to enter even if you don't think it will win (and a fun game can win even if it doesn't look "the best"). You've got nothing to lose and everything to win in this case, so just enter.

I wrote my first line of XNA code on July 14th. That puts me just over a week short of two months, myself.

But no screenshot, demo, or even triple-A title will prevent me from submitting Railgun to the DBP competition.

Do you realise how cool it is just to have a game I can submit? Who cares if I win? I wrote a game! ZOMG! That's awesome! I don't give two toots on a tin whistle if it "stands a chance"!

Seriously, dude, join me on this. Get your game done, and get it into the running. We can lose to the big guns together. ;)

I agree with Darklock. I have him beat by four days: I wrote my first line on July 10th. Clearly, this means my project will have TONS more polish and graphical fidelity.

No it won't. Who cares? I find Kung-Fu for the NES more fun than Killzone 2. And like others have said, there's nothing at all to lose. Post it!
