Help can't install Net Rumbel 3.0

When I try to install Net Rumbel 3.0 the installer says "The Instillation package could not be opened. Contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows Installer package." Is there anything that I can do to make it work.

This sounds like a possible corrupt download.  Could you try to download this starter kit MSI again and see if you have better luck?  Also, do you see this error for any of the other starter kits?

    Thanks!

I went and tried to download that one three times and it never worked. I just took your advice to try downloading another starter kit and the same thing happened. So I think that it could be something wrong with my computer settings but I don't know. Any help would be apriciate.

I'm assuming you have XNA Game Studio 3.0 installed already?

When you click on the download link for these MSIs, do you choose to run them or save them?  If you're using the run option, could you try to save them to your desktop instead and then run them afterwards to see if that helps?

Also, do you have any issues like this with any other types of files that you download on this computer?  Or is it only happening for these starter kit MSI files?

There might be some setting in your anti-virus, anti-spyware or firewall software that is affecting the ability to download files and run them.  You may want to check in those programs on your system and see if there are any settings you can adjust to see if that helps here.

    Thanks!
