Can you start game name with x? Like xGame?

    I tried searching the forums and searched via this XNA site but didn't find anything about this. Is there any regulation that says you can't use x to begin your game name?


    We are looking to use it like: xGame   Game being the name.

    Taking a current game for example, can you name Solitaire, xSolitaire??

    Anyone have any information on this or "rules" they can link me to that prohibits this? I just ask as no one has done this yet and I can't find any info on it.

    If your question is, can a game name start with "x", then the answer is yes. Your game can start with any letter of the alphabet you desire.

    However, if your question is, if I add an "x" (or any letter) to the beginning of an existing games name does that make it legal to use? The answer is, we can't answer legal questions here your only option is to consult a lawyer to answer these types of questions.

    Ok, great. Thanks! Was not a legal question. Just wasn't sure if Microsoft banned using the letter x at the beginning of a name or anything like that.

    Actually they could only afford to buy three quarters of the letter X so, unfortunately you can't publish games that start with the letter Y.
