    Trail Membership problem?

I apologize in advance if i beating a dead horse here, but ive been searching for an answer for a while, and i couldnt find the answers myself.

Well heres the problem. I got my XNA code from my school MSDNAA webpage, and i enetered the code in my XBOX lives marketplace "redeem code" area on the website. I though with an academic membership you get a trial membership? mine still says "registered"

Maybe my xboxlive gamertag isnt linked correctly to my XNA membership?

It is a trial membership, but not a trial premium (so it doesn't show up as premium), see http://creators.xna.com/en-US/membership

    Re: Trail Membership problem?

Well I got the same problem, I got a mail from Xbox live saying i have an 12 month trail account for XNA but xna still sees me as normal registerd and not trail.

I saw more of the same problems with trial membersships here and never a solution. Where can I get more information? The XNA only says ask the forums everywhere and xbox live says contact XNA

    Any information on this topic?

    Re: Trail Membership problem?

The 12mo XNA Creators Club Academic Membership is only designed to give you access to develop on the Xbox 360 console. It does not give you any of the XNA Creators Club premium membership features through the website such as the ability to submit an Xbox LIVE Community Game or download Premium samples. This is why that you still show up as a "regular" member on the site.

It would be a good suggestion to differentiate those of you with academic trials in some way though. You should file a suggestion on this through Microsoft Connect.

    Thanks!
