Media Library and Windows 7

I don't know if anyone else is using windows 7 but the media Library or Play or something is not working, I have even tried the how to play a song sample code and no song playing. No error, just no sound.

sampleMediaLibrary = new MediaLibrary();
MediaPlayer.Stop(); // stop current audio playback
MediaPlayer.Play(sampleMediaLibrary.Albums[0].Songs[0]);

nothing, It doesn't error out or stop on the debugger, it just does not play.

If you try to play the same song in Windows Media Player, do you get sound?

yes I do, I even checked to make certain that media player sharing was on etc. It's pretty vexing actually. It seems the MediaLibrary is initialized and has the data. I am perplexed.

Could you verify for me that you have have songs registered in your media library under the various categories? What's under Albums?
Also it's possible you are trying to play a file not supported by game studio but supported by MediaPlayer. e.g.: .mp4, ogm, m4a, mid, etc...

I put 4 songs in the media library, the very same 4 songs that I use under vista. The very same mp3's. I have a dual (well actually quad) boot system, I can boot into vista64, vista32 or Win7. Works under vista, same mp3's. Did you try it under windows 7?

Yes, I'm using A Release Candidate version of Windows 7 on two different machines. Are you using the beta version of Windows 7 perhaps?
