It depends on if you are used to code or are yet learning. If you never learned to program I recomemend you start by leargning a Object Oriented Programming. In this case for xna, C#.
Otherwise download a few starter packs and change them. You'll learn the basis in no time. Start by 2d. Then move to 3d.
